S. Ray Gill with his twenty five plus years in the legal profession knows what it takes to get the job done and believes there is no substitute for a broad knowledge of the law and experience. His experience ranges from teaching Law Courses to establishing a Citizens Dispute Settlement Program in 1985, creating the Domestic Violence Program in 1986 and the Citizens Dispute Settlement Program for Fifth Judicial Circuit which has served as a model for other such programs in Florida and nationally. Mr. Gill served as the Florida State Attorney for the Fifth Judicial Circuit from 1985 to 1989.
Mr. Gill has taken courses in general and specialized areas of trial practice for: Civil Mediation, Family Law Mediation, and numerous National and Florida Bar Continuing Legal Educational Courses. Mr. Gill has successfully handled several thousand criminal cases as a prosecutor and defense attorney and has extensive experience in all aspects of civil trial work including several complicated jury and non-jury trials in torts and commercial law. Ray also has extensive experience in mediation of family and civil court ordered cases.
Mr. Gill is a Certified Circuit Court Mediator and devotes a substantial amount of time mediating civil disputes. In addition, Mr Gill is a Certified Family Mediator; especially in those cases involving complex financial and/or child custody issues.
Mr. Gill holds very high standards for himself and the people he represents. Certified Legal Assistants are on staff and specialize in assigned areas of his practice.
